Shorties are for cheap people who don't want to put in the time to get the long tubes in place. Long tubes are better in every way than the shorties. As for the company, there are alot to choose from the best bang for your buck while still getting a good product are Mac and BBK. BBK is a little more expensive and you need to remove 1 header to take out tranny. The Mac LT's will bend enough that you don't need to remove them. Just an extra $150 for the mechanic when they change your clutch.
