Followed the instructions and they asked me to change the air flow I think it was, to -4
The after a drive on the highway the idle situation cleared up and hopefully it stays that way
How long have you had the intake by the way. If its recently that you got one from raedmustangs then that might fix mine also.
 
The best thing is to call c&l. They will tell you whatever you need and c&l are always very helpful. Thats why you got the kit. Its not something you have to figure out on your own. With the new tunes you are not suppose to have to make the changes that accuboost had to make.

No it doesnt matter that it says 05. It means 05+.
 
yeah he seemed a little cocky but now I see why. He was right, Took it apart and cleaned it and put it back on. Reloaded the stock tune then reloaded the 93 racer tune for goud measure . Well upon start up I noticed a dif right away just from the sound. Let it idle for a couple the turned on the ac let it run for a coupke and no hicups at all. Cudos to you and C&L. Hell he answered me before I asked. He basicly told me that this is happening how many miles and why. These car are soo finiky. The throttle body wasnt even that dirty. But that minute problem was enuf. He even pointed out something that didnt pop into my mind till talking to him. Sometimes when stoping with ac on b4 the install I did notice that the rpms droped a little then settle out. I figured it was the comp kickin in draging it down and the car compisated. But no its the sign that indicates the throttlebody needs to be cleaned. <Remember that fellas. all in all its fixed and I havent driven it yet but im sure its even better than before. Cant wait for the drive to work. lol. Now time to save for that prochamber.
 
make sure the service writer knows to NOT program the PCM, dont worry, they cant void your warranty for saying that.........dont just straight up tell them you have a custom tune, just tell them you dont want the pcm messed with.
 
Yeah its good now. Just a couple things I need to check out tho. The idle doesnt drop down when comming out of gear as fast as I wouldve thought. Not sure of what the caracteristics of this setup is. Its goes to normal but slowishly. Also when I let off the gas peddal it doesnt slow down as fast as before. Like it wants to keep goin lol. I was checking things out with the tuner on the idle rpms. There is the actual rpms and then above that it say rpmdsd and it is 784. The idle sits between 780 to like 911 when monitoring it. Can anyone one touch on this. Cant be any leaks. Im goin to do the idle relean real quick and see what that does.......
