Just arrived. Couple questions...the weld on the crank...is that a balancing thing? and the numbers on the connecting rod boxes...are they weights? Anyway...Now im dieing to yank the motor...bets on how long I last before i pull the motor?

The numbers on the boxes are weights of each ends of the rod. The 184 ish number means the small end of the rod weighs 184.* grams. The larger number 425 ish means the crank pin end of the rod weighs 425.* grams. The total rod weight is 609 grams. These numbers are a must in balancing. The Welding On the Crank is for balancing. They will weld/braze in a heavier metal to ahieve proper balance. Also the holes drilled are for balancing also.
Nice choice. I bet you have that engine out very soon.

they say 30 hp and 30 torque with the kit...and +1 on the tranny and rear end...my drivetrain is not balanced enough to spray a 250 shot...and of course the pistons are the weak area now...the ones that came are good for 20 pounds of boost, or 1000 hp...but they arent a "Nitrous" piston per say, not that they cant handle 250 shot...they just wanted me to know...i think im pretty safe
