This is what I dont understand. To my knowledge the roush Supercharger is a terrible buy for the money and the horsepower gaines. They are so milled for so much. Saleen is a great looking supercharger and a great price but after so much you cant up the boost. The procharger looks great along with the the Novi 2200 but they have way to high of boost for the power. Why dont more people put Kenne Bells 2.6L Big Bore on there cars. The kit is more money then most but you can switch out pullies for more boost and you dont have to retune the car. Also it runs at lower boost with more horsepower. Whats the deal with this. Can someone tell me why this is?

2.6L KBs are PITA's to set up. You definitely have to switch out cams, up the idle, fuel delivery like MAD, and do a lot of extra work to have the thing work with your car.

the only BIG modification you have to do for the KB is cut the inner wall inside the bumper for the cai intake to mount. its mounts inside the bumper. the fear of that is driving through water, puddles or rain and sucking it up into the intake and bye bye engine. so they claim. i still dont like how it mounts

the saleen kits you can just change the pulley as well and get more boost, same with the whipple kits too.

i dont know where your getting the information.

but the roush is a good kit as well. it will keep you @ 6psi and around 425RWHP while maintaining you 3yr/36000 mile warranty from the factory.

PM me and I'll be sure to tell you everything you need to know. trust me, I spent 7 months researching on every single supercharger before I bought the whipple, so I pretty much know everything little thing about the tuning and the boost and what not.

A Stage 1 Procharger only puts out 8-9 lbs of boost......Plenty safe for our cars with stock internals!Somebody fed you bull puckey & you swallowed it up!

i wouldn't trust their tunes, since they are all mail order and each car is different. if your going to get a procharger, get it custom tuned or check the a/f before you go stompin on that kit. doesn't matter if the boost is safe between 8-9psi, the tune is also a big factor as well.

I agree with that! You will get a better set up with a custom tune for sure!

Saleen and Roush superchargers ae WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. Personally, I'd leave em alone and go with something more along the lines of kenne bell.

im a newbie.. dont wanna stay that way.
KB is kenne bell.....one of the brands of superchargers. a good brand at that.

anyone know if the whipple from ford racing keeps the factory warranty
the whipple / ford racing kit is still being determined at the moment to have ford honor the warranty they've been workin on it since day 1 when the kit came out.
