Im getting ready to deploy and when i get back i wanna purchase a blower for my 01gt. So far i already got a jlt cai and accufab 70mmtb and plenum. My question is what would be a better purchase using a centri blower with my accufabe tb and plenum or a kb with my accufab 70mm tb and jlt cai? I dont wanna put anything that i have already to waste but i also wanna get my money worth in the upgrade. Also whats an easier install? looks like the kb would be but im not certain.

i also got x-pipe and slp catback

Both can be done by a do it yourselfer. If you have the time and patience. If you go with the KB i would recommend selling your plenum combo and buy a 75mm tb. The kb doesnt use the plenum. thats what i did.

What do you want top end or bottom end? Drag racer, or a street monster?

i want a street monster pretty much and an occasional track day. My friend is about to get a stock 03/04 cobra and i wanna keep up with him or even beat him. Leaning towards a procharger novi and i dont believe i can use my jlt on that but i can still use my plenum and tb. Dont wanna lose that since i paid 120 for both such a steal!

btw what are termis running at the wheels?

^^^stock output is around 390 hp(crank) or 330 rwhp

They are seriously underrated and have been known to put out 360-390 rwhp. Add a pulley change and you have some more to add to that number.

I am not 100% sure so anyone correct me if my numbers seem a little off...but that is from what I can remember reading about the stock numbers in other posts.

well i looked at the kit for the procharger on RPM outlet and all i got is basic bolt ons and what would you guys recommend 2 or 3core intercooler and sct maf or just stick with stock?

my buddy put down 425rwhp with a jlt intake, midpipe, and catback. They are WAY underrated.

And if you do a search there's definately alot of information on this subject. A KB with 9psi intercooled should get you a pretty peppy street car

Yeah a kb with a CAI (jlt works) and a 75tb and midpipe/catback exhaust put me at 405hp 415 tq with the 9psi kit.

yeah but i also dont wanna spend too much. KB 2.1 is like 5g for the kit right

don't buy from rpm outlet.. there are adv. and disadvantages to both in a billion other threads and most seem to favor the centri, but i will more than likely go with kenne bell when i get the money.. gah i love that wot scream they have lol

I have a procharger and it depends on what kind of racing you'll be doing more often, roll races i get killed on but if you're going to be doing more digs it's great. You cant beat the sound of the kb though

Are you sure your just not racing cars you can beat from a dig and not a roll, cuz i think its the other way around, positive displacement always has power there (dig) while centrifugal has some lag unless at high rpms already (roll race), correct me if im wrong :dunno

how many miles on your car and how much will you drive it, kb will put more wear on your car so if you have high miles might want to consider the centi.

well on the car itself i have around 85,000 the motor i have about 56,000. Also i think with the kb unless i have some good suspension work i would just spin from a dig cuz of the amount of tq at the wheels. Probably gonna get a centri. I like the KB whine but i love the sound of a centri at idle Mmmmm!

You can't lose here...lol. They both have advantages and disadvantages. KB for street fun...centri for all out power at max rpm, for the track!

I'm going to go with a KB in a few years. I can dream about torque all day...but when I'm in the seat of that car experiencing it...it's better than any dream can give ya anyday..lol!
