Im finally getting into blocking my 99 mustang and preparing to buy the paint but I cant decide what paint job to go with. I have the roush stage 3 front, cobra r cowl hood, shaved antenna, side markers and no wing. The car was originally black so id like to get away from having to repaint the jams but was also considering painting the car a real satin black so here are the options. Also when posting your choice/opinion throw out what rim set up you would put on there, I was originally leaning towards staggered 19" black bullitts but they are out of stock right now and no eta of when they will reorder. I could just get the polished ones and paint them myself any color

stock gloss black with flat black center of hood and maybe roof(cant find any pics of that but you can figure out what a stock black car would look like)

two tone black bottom, burgandy top half with silver dividing line right at the body line. here is a link to pics of a very similar paint job on a mustang...

I say the flat semi black dude. I love how flat black cars look, i think that with some flat black wheels with a red lip it would look fantastic. I've always been a fan of the look. I like subtle

personaly I think the semi-gloss looks freakin sexy. Or gloss with 2 satin racing stripes.

anyways. I think it would look sick semi-gloss, tinted headlights, tail lights, darkest legal window tint. as for wheels depending on your budget. I would find something different as thats the way the car is already headed.then have the centers painted to match. Personally I love the look of 19' wheels on our cars, but tires for those wheels are expensive. if you are going to stay with a "traditional" mustang wheels then get some 18x9/10 ctr wheels. then have the centers repainted.

Oh and whatever you do. make sure they clear the car with a semi gloss clear too. the same for the wheels.
