Put it on ebay. I have seen some Mustangs go for some ridiculous prices.
i'm not really trying to sell it. i have too much in it to accept the loss i would take right now :)

but the exhaust... most shops will fabricate a dual exhaust for about 300-400 bucks. and the majority use crush bent aluminum instead of the better mandrel bent stainless steel. mods do not add value.

yeah but considering the fact that I was probably going to add one, it adds value in my book. Even if only 300-400 dollars
i know it is valuable to you, but do not let the seller know that. in the general market, they don't add value, so use this to your advantage, and do not pay more because of the mods.

you can find a 02-04 for 4k with less than 80k miles on it I would look for that

+1. i bought my 99 with 80k miles back in 2004 (4 years ago) for 5300.
so 4 years newer would be 2003 for 5300 at same depreciation. but introducing the newer models, you could get an 02-04 for about 4000-4500 easy.

So what are the bottlenecks in the v6 that should be taken care of first and benefit the most with HP? Does the 99 need tlock?

Underdrive pully?
Rear end gear?
performance chip? what kind?
new intake manifold or headers?
CAI?
Camshaft?

t-lok and ring and pinion gears are the first number one and best mod i have done.

then (if you dont have emissions) do full exhaust with long tube headers. (2nd best mod i have done).

and a tuner (sct makes good products - xcal2 is what i have, but now the xcal3 is out and Justin @ VMPTuning is the best at tuning the essex motors).

your last mod to bring it all together would be the cam shaft. do this after you do any internal work or porting/polishing.

some have has success with underdrive pulleys. ASP makes good ones.

a CAI is just for the looks and maybe 1-2 rwhp. no matter what you get, get a k&n style filter

Underdrive pully?good bump in power
Rear end gear?get with t-lok
performance chip? what kind?sct handheld tuner get it from Joe at trick tuners he is a sponsor on the site
new intake manifold or headers? longtube headers if you dont have smog tests
CAI?30 bucks on ebay
Camshaft? good bump in power I wouldnt do it though unless you did other engine internal work

sorry about my lack of knowing what your talking about but what exactly are the t-lok and ring and pinion gears, what do they do, and how much is it? My brother is a mechanic so he could most likely help me with installation if it is hard.

way to much miliage shouldnt add much to the price as long as it isnt at like 30k or somthing

I sold that for 6k a year ago and got way over book since the kid wanted a "modded" car you can find one like that yellow one for 4k easy contact him make him the offer then call back every 2 weeks he will drop fast

the only thing I know about t-lok is that it it makes it so you dont burn out with 1 tire. lol
its an LSD gives power to both wheels, the ring gear is a modifier of the transmission gearing and affects how many times your tires turn per drive shaft rotation causing faster acceleration. costs about 600 for t-lok, gears, and install equipment, and about 200-400 for install as it needs to be done at a shop since it involves some precision work

cant you guys just tell me I am getting a good deal? c'mon.
we can save you some money if you don't mind being patient :)
when do you want to have the car purchased by?
