LOL I think most would considering the consequences of it all but he's the best dog I've ever had by far. Anyway my plan was to get the F/I kit now since I had the cash and didn't know when the next time I'd have that kind of cash was gonna be. Then slowly work my way through everything else. So I got about 4K right now to put into it so I think I'll do LT headers, o/r X, axle backs, CAI + tune some suspension work and I don't know what else maybe some u/d pullies. what do you guys think?

My dog didn't get hurt, just a few scratches. The other dog which is sorta of mine for the time being, I've only had her for a couple weeks as I found her abandoned and I'm trying to find a permanent home for her. Well she got it pretty bad, 132 staples total, broken hind leg and several drains. I feel terrible for her:sorry. She'll be at the vet for about a week probably and the vet said she should recover just fine.

^^those are in order as far as one stop shop

Which F/I were you going to do? centri....positive displacement....turbo? you could get the Brenspeed Vortech V3 kit (non intercooled) for $3799.

I was gonna do a TS. The Whipple HO most likely. Although the saleen was drawing my attention as well particularly the brenspeed kit. Thanks for the links guys.

Yea the KB does look absolutely lethal, however a friend of mine had alot of tuning issues with KB 2.6. I heard (granted its not first hand info) that the whipple and saleen were more reliable and generally better for a DD setup. I don't know why to me it seems it wouldn't be that big a difference between the three.

I have had a KB 2.6 on my car for 12000 miles and there has been zero issues with it... I am sure the other power adders have had the same results.. these six words apply to all of them and me.... IT IS ALL IN THE TUNE!!!

give me a call. You can have a lot of fun and make some pretty good power for 4000 in this car. You can be fast without a supercharger. cams, full bolt ons, exhuast, gears. Your gonna like your car and be able to put that power to the ground in more circumstances then a 80 roll. So dont be to depressed about it.

Thanks bud I'll definetly give you a call next week when I know exactly what my budget will be. It will be around 4K give or take a couple hundred. just waiting to see if my dog is gonna need anything else, so far the outlook is good, they reset her leg today so it should all be ok.

$4000 will still put you in the f/i range. The brenspeed v3 package clams 150hp with there $3799 package... $3600 if you already have a tuner. Our vendors can get you a good deal on these f/i packages also. Rich(07stanggt) is going to be helping me get mine. Rich has always been my first choice since the first time i did business with him.
