Use the paint Luke........BUT DON'T OVER DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Find a match to your exterior color seeing as it's Pewter.

For Me:
Spray-painted, center console, side vent, small defogger vent on top of dash, door hanle bezels, and the door sills.

By hand I painted the running horse on the steering wheel and the "MUSTANG" sig on the passenger dash.

Is that silver charcoal for the paint that you used? I've got a charcoal/graphite interior on my 01 and am looking to paint the console and door sills when the weather warms up. I was thinking silver charcoal would look good but curious as to what the finished product looks like before I go buy the paint.

i swapped my cluster for a mach 1 model one..picked it up off ebay for 100 bucks. i painted the interior parts satin silver. they look white in the photo but its silver. they came out really slick..i did all the prep work and the painter i used to work with sprayed them. heres a shot of it.

nope.. if you are talkin bout the 91.. its still sitting in the shop, as it has been since april of 06.. but the tranny is in the process of being built.. :D

check out exoticwooddash. get an OEM replacement steering wheel in simulated wood, sim metal or any color you desire. Not a cover for the wheel but a solid factory replacement with airbag. then you can coat any part of your interior the same way. Make your entire door panel satin aluminum if you want... good luck. sorry if this was already posted.

I did this to my 02 GT and will soon do the same to my 03 Cobra. This was a mock up I did in photoshop but most of it was completed. Aluminum is hot as **** in the summer and ice in the winter. I understand why ford makes most parts plastic.

The billit replacement power lock and window switches would expand in the cold and get stuck...and wobbled from the heavy weight in the summer when they were loose. I hated them.

I also took off the emergency brack cover. the button on the end would get stuck and I wouldnt be able to release the brake. Perhaps the items I bought were poorly made, though I paid a good penny for those items.

I will be much more selective in the future ...good luck

Excellent Job by looking at pictures. Now did you paint that stuff yourself or send out? Can anyone tell closeup that it was painted or does it look factory. and last did you use spray cans or gun? thanks in advance
