well guys i just ordered some new parts from American Muscle today and I think I will be really pleased with them. I ordered the SCT SF3 PowerFlash Tuner and 4:10 Gear kit and the Motive Bearing Kit. And it even came with one free custom tune. So im hoping that i wont be disappointed with this "which i know i wont be" So now im finally gonna get to jump on the 4:10 band wagon. I just cant wait till the parts come in so i can take the gears and bearing kit to my mechanic and get him to install them for me.

yeah thats what i also heard. Ive been deciding between 4:10s and 3:73s for sometime now and finally made my choice. and from what i've heard i made a good decision. Just cant wait for these parts to come in and get them installed.

dont forget to order new clutches for t-lok & have them installed while their in there (very cheap to do now & you'll thank yourself later)

I'm looking into possibly and SCT Powerflash from AM. Let me know how their tunes work out from you. It's between SCT or Sniper at the moment.

Will do. I chose to go with SCT because i eventually wanna install a set of cams and i dont know of anyone local who deals with sniper and ton who deal with SCT and i wanna be able to get a custom dyno tune when i get a set of cams. And i heard that the sniper special forces doesn't have any cam parameters yet. But i will let you know how i like the tune.
Im hoping it will work great, but seeing that i dont have many mods, it probably wont have a big effect.

cause there cheap to buy & while their putting you gears in wouln't cost you much. they dont last long & you shure dont want to pay to have the rear end opened back up (before my line lock I'd get 1 season out of them maybie 300+/- passes)

would i necessary have to get the one with the carbon clutches or is that just for extra assurance?

regular clutches will be fine. if you want it real tight tell your mechanic to leave out a steel & put in an extra clutch in. he should know how to do it (if he doesn't you should find someone else to do your gears).

what exactly does making the clutches do?

oh i meant what does making the clutches tighter exactly do. sorry

thats ok. the extra clutch just locks the wheels together tighter. some people dont like it because the tires tend to chirp a little in tight turns, but I've been doing them like that for a long time with on complaints.

well just asked my mechanic for a price on install for the gears, and he quoted me 225 if not a lil less he said. so as soon as my income check deposits in the account, im gonna get my gears installed. i just cant wait

Good deal. I paid $300 for mine. Had 31 spline FRPP diff, 31 spline axles and 373s installed.

nice. congrats on gettin the stuff. I got 4.10's installed last week. Im too broke to get the tuner tho. How much are shops gonna charge you? or you gonna do install yourself?
