well, i've had the flows for a couple years now.. with longtubes on the way with a offroad h this thing might be a little too loud on the inside...? i'm kinda thinking that i may want to swap mufflers when this install is said and done. what are some muffs that will perform well yet not have that ANNOYING ass interior drone?

I have the magnaflows. Nice quiet sound at idle, and only a very slight drone at about 90mph. I had a friend with the flowmasters and his car would drone so bad between about 60 and 80mph. It was hard to even talk.

i have a full interior and it still is just ridiculous between 60 and 80.. maybe i'll try the magnaflows, as far as i'm concerned right now the flows will come off short after longtube install.. and DEFINITELY before i drive to reno this summer. that **** was loud last year and i had a catted h and stock manifolds

corsa sounds like sex on vettes and srt8's...never heard them on a mustang...and their expensive as hell...250ish a muffler

I have some magnaflows that I just took out of my mach because I wanted something louder so I went with MAC. They have to be welded in though, they were cut out of my car. Let me know if you are interested. :D

we'll see how it turns out at the end of the week.. until then i have $160 to last me till next friday. ouch.

I have flowmaster 40's welded in stock manifolds and catted mid pipe. when they flows were dumped infront of the rear axle the drone was HORRIBLE! but once i had a shop bend some tailpipes to take the exhaust out the back of the car the drone is gone. well mostly. I still hear it a bit at 70-75, ut it is a lot quieter adn I can actually TALK inside my car now.

I ran Flowmaster 40s for two years. I do a lot of highway and interstate driving and I just got tired of the drone. I called a lot of muffler shops and basically got the same answer. They told me to go with Magnaflows. One shop told me that they replace Flowmaster and SLP mufflers all the time. It seems that everyone wants a loud car until they have to drive a loud car. I took their advice and had the Flowmasters cut out and Magnaflows welded in. I couldn't be more pleased. The car has good sound without an ear deafening drone. I can even hear my supercharger spooling up now. I get a much bigger thrill hearing that than I do hearing loud pipes.
