well without the jpc intake manifold I have to use the GT 500 TB and a ported intake From JDM. also the meziere with the crank udp, 39lb injectors and lots of tunes.
 
I think I will stick with the stock manifold ported, because It will look stock and cost less for a 10hp gain or so they say.
True. whats it costing you to have it ported by the way?

I know a few guys that do it. Ron Leonard told me about doing it on his car that ran 11.8s stock heads cams etc.

if you add a meziere electric water pump/relay kit and steeda race plates to that equation then you will have about 360-365ish.

careful w/ the 'ricer math', it dosent always show on the dyno.

dyno tricks... hell, just put on some front runners w/ 3.08 gears... there are ways to get numbers!;);) LOL
 
When you take off the TB off the stock manifold you'll see two holes where the TB ports connect to. When they port the stock manifold they remove the center section and make it one big opening. kinda like a oval TB. Hope this helps understand some.

hey guys I don't wanna sound stupid but do you really need a tune for all cams?
 
no, not neccesarily. in fact, most of the tuners didn't even have an email tune for the NSR's and Hot Rods.

But for SPR's and Mutha Thumpers, it's def. needed
