My car goes in for surgery tomorrow

. Lt's haven't even shipped yet so i'm just getting the cams put in for now. Can't wait!!! Went to a car meet tonight and heard all the cam'd cars coming and going and it made me go crazy! I can't wait to get these things in. Guy went down a little in price on the install for me too. He's doing the cams for $350 and the Lt's for $350. He said he did some more research and found that it was a lot easier to do the springs than he originaly thought. Cams should be done saturday. While he's doing the install he is going to let me take the valve covers home to paint them... what color should i do? I was thinking red... opinions?

my brake calipers. There really isn't that many of color choices. Don't want silver because they are already silver, don't want black because that doesn't really stand out. I was thinking red or blue.

I did mine in satin silver... yea if you want "look at me" type standout color, thats not it. But I like the look

Red looks best on silver or black mustangs. Blue would look good too, but if I had to choose it'd be red.

red would look good, make sure its not a dull flat red. Blue valve covers always look right on a ford however.

I was gonna have a place called hpp do it, but i met the owner of a place called LT motorsports and he kinda sold me on his shop. I think he said $150 for the dyno tune. I will do that in a couple of weeks after i get everything in, but for know bama is gonna send me an updated tune.

Yes sir thats me, along with the 6 other silver s197's that show up to that meet

. I went with the comp stage 2 xfi spr cams. the install price is with no tune.

guess i'm gonna go with red. lil update though... didn't get the parts in today so i'm gonna have to wait till next weekend to get the cams installed

. At least i have the money for the install and the parts are already purchased. Thats worth like 20 hp for the time being right?

new shop that wants business. He used to be a certified ford tech and svt certified. He left the dealership and took a few techs with him and they opened up a mustang shop.

Take the comp cams sticker outta of the box, place it in the engine bay this should give you 5rwhp.

They are all XFI, whether its NSR, VSR, SPR.

Yea they cut up pretty hard.
