Given that the supercharger is the eaton m112 (i believe it is). Torktech makes a kit but its more than its worth. I wanna say its 1800 just for the manifold and a little pulley setup, so that still leaves you needing the supercharger, injectors, maf, etc.

I am trying to do this on the resonable cheap. I dont want to do a 5.4l swap because I would end up with the same if not more money into it than a used series iv saleen. I can pic up an eaton blower and lower man for less than 1k, but its for 5.4l. There has got to be an adapter out there to make it fit on a 4.6l.

Read my first post above. THERE IS A KIT. IT IS MADE BY TORKTECH. Heres the "problem" with it though. Youre gonna pay $1800 for the torktech manifold and a little pulley setup, then youre gonna need the supercharger ive seen base ones run for $4-500 base meaning no plenum/intake,no tb,etc. So then you need the plenum/intake part of it, plus throttle body. Then add a maf, injectors, and anything else you may need to by along the way to make it work. In the end its not worth it vs buying a vortech or similar.

As far as there being an actual adapter out there; probably not. They make 4.6 - 5.4 manifold adapter plates simply bc the 5.4 is wider than the 4.6. Therefore all the adapters really are is spacers. Kinda hard to make an adapter w/o some sort of goofy ass contraption when it comes to going smaller to bigger for the manifold fitment.

I want to keep the sc under 2k. So that leaves Tork Tech out. I dont particularly want a centri. My target hp range is 350 to 450 depending on which supercharger I get. I know that the eaton has that kind of power in it, so thats why I have looking at them. Its just completely frustrating when I see blower after blower go for a grand and I cant find a way to get it on my car. I am so close to buying a 6-71 and cutting a hole in the hood. LOL

Yup, if it was that easy everyone would be doing it. For under 2k youre just about **** out of luck unless you can find a used saleen or similar for cheap or youre pretty good with fabrication and welding. 2k is a pretty tight budget to work with for a roots setup.

Just to entertain the thought, how much is the 5.4l harley/lightning setup worth hp wise. Theoritically, I should be able to get 350-450 out of one without a huge amount of pain and suffering shouldnt I? Thats if I was to swap a 5.4l in my car.

wait wait wait...you want to supercharge your car for under 2k? :lol give up now, because it won't happen unless you find a great deal on a used sc with everything you need for under 2k. Until then your SOL.

Its very well possible, but like you said he would need to find some good deals. Im sitting at $1100 for mine right now. All thats left is fuel pump, intercooler piping, and about $40 in materials to weld up a diy intake/power pipe and $50 in maf/bov flanges. So prolly right around $1500 when all said said and done in parts. Then another $500 or so for travel, hotel, and tune.

I was gonna boost my GT, but since it's my daily. I'm just going with some fun auto tranny parts, bolt ons, and heads and cams. Then calling it a day. Should be plenty fun...till I get a beater.

Thats what I should have done since is my dd too but after this and a few other little bolt ons such as plenum/tb im prolly gonna do some suspension stuff and be done with it. Anyways im off to bed, cya.

Thanks for all the opinions fellas. I'm gonna do this for under 2k, thats all there is to it. I could afford more, but I'm just not going to. Thats my goal and I'm sticking to it. This car isnt a dd, no will it every be, its just going to be for fun. I have drove alot of cars with hp #'s anywhere from 200 to 900 that were streetable, and I know my capabilities for driving skill. 350-450 hp is a whole lot of fun without having to get outrageously expensive as for suspension and braking. So thats where I'm headed, and I'm not looking back. lol I may research the 5.4l swap a bit more, but I'm not to thrilled about pulling the motor yet. If I am going that route, it would be hard not to go all out and buy an aluminator or cobra motor to put back in it. Thanks again.
