So i think im going to go with the high flow cats instead of changing the midpipe. I was wondering if you guys reccomended any and if I were to do it would i just replace the 4 cats i have with the 2 high flows and connect the co2 sensor and thats it?

i thought about cutting out that four stock cats outta my stock h and put 2 hight flow ones...is that possible is it gonna pass smog like that?

its 02 sensor btw not co2.

and even with two high flow cats instead of your stocker you may need the MIL eliminators, it might still throw a code for catalytic efficency.

ask someone who has done it for sure

Ive always like the SLP hi flow cats or Magnaflow high flow's.

i heard the pypes mini hight flow cats are good as well...but yeah has anybody done that cut out stockers and put high flows? anybody?

what I was going to or should I say started doing was,cut the second cats off and add a stright pipe and keep the two first cats.the stock cats on 04's aren't that restrictive. It would prob be cheaper if you get an o/r and then add the hi flow cats to them.unless you can do the work yourself.

yeah but if you keep the two first cats and remove the last two then you will have the first two cats befor the exhaust even gets to the o2 sensors,by then most of the fumes should be all burned up.

Nope. Especially now since they passed the recent restriction that mandates OBD II cats on ALL vehicles, not just those that came equipped with them.

"High-Flow" cats aren't smog legal, only factory cats are. For what it's worth, though, a brand-new OE cat flows every bit as well as a supposed "high flow" cat.
