Well, I guess I will take the plunge and just buy the springs and get them installed.

HeavyGT, a 1.5" drop got you that look? I took a measuring tape to my car and looked at 1.5" and it does not seem to be that close to the wheel. Maybe it just looks better after its done.

So...

Which springs would get me the best drop without using the Shocks/Struts? I would of posted this in the V6 tech section if not for wanting some pics hehe.

HeavyGT's rims are bigger than yours ( I think ) but I could be wrong. that may be why he is getting that look. Also its a newer model so its going to have a different result.
True, plus thats some fat tires. GenevieveD, you said you had the Eibach Pro kit with stock struts/shocks correct?

Something to mention, is that I live in a mostly rural area with some bumpy roads. I could, in theory, stay on the highways 80% of the time. However, I do have to go on these back roads alot. I'm beggining to think even tho I do not need them, it would still be a good idea to just go ahead and spend the extra cash.

Plus I am starting to look at the H&Rs that are 1.75" ... although if 1.5" does not need shocks/struts i am sure 1.75" would not either.

So, skip it, or just spend the cash and get it cause of the roads around here.
 
I'm running the sportlines right now with stock shocks/struts. Rides just fine to me, and the shocks/stuts are still in good shape/not leaking.
 
my car was dropped 2 inches with stock shocks struts no alignment no cc plates. Just $100 ebay springs and a little time to install..

Then Went to drag springs.

Now looking for a set of 1.5 drop springs and still keeping everything stock...

I bet the shop is just telling you that you NEED the parts so they can make some cash...
