Has anyone thought about matching the stock plastic intake the the delete plates??? I noticed that the intake is a smaller diameter than the plates. Might get some a smoother airflow out of it.

thats what the race plates do...i gutted mine out and plugged the back hole on both plates with a freeze plug and slapped them in there...easy as pie and free too!! if you have any questions let me know

no i'm saying the intake acutally looked like it was smaller than the delete plates. Race plates are bigger arent they??? Its not gonna help too much if your intake is ALREADY smaller than the factory plates. Maybe I didn't see this, but im pretty sure I did. It looked like the plastic intake could use some port matching to the delete plates. I dunno, might try something with this.

This is possible. I know JDM ports the stock manifold, but I have no idea what area gets ported. I didn't look at the manifold when I deleted my stock plates... probably should have.lol

hmmmmm.........oh well i'll figure out what i'm gonna do. still got some time on my hands.

watch i'll procrastinate and not get it done, then i'll have all the parts for my car and be ready to assemble. Then its gonna be like, "****, I knew if should have already done that"

someone want to pm me and explain the benefits of this? (Don't want to thread jack ;) )
Obviously more airflow, but at what cost?

you might lose a little bottom end torque I THINK...........But it is a needed mod when you start getting alot of air flowing in and out......its pretty much a restriction right in the middle. Have you ever felt the car "kick into gear" at around 3k rpm?? Thats the plates opening up and letting more air flow in.......

I just gutted mine last night, easy job. Gotta get the JB weld today if I dont forget to bring it home. and my dad lost my ****ing dremel tool. What a dick. Looks like im gonna be using alot of sand paper.

we got two ****ing dremel tools around my house. One is mine, that my dad borrowed, and the other is one apparently he bought after he lost mine. Now we can't find either of them. Oh well my buddy has a brand new one he got from his last job for free he said I can use all I want, and he lives literally 10 seconds from my house. I just want to get the delete plates done, and I can do those with sand paper. The whole porting the intake thing is up in the air. I will have to look closely at it before I molest it any.
