I tryed searching so forgive me if the answer is out there but I could not find it... I am getting ready to order my H&R Springs and I was wondering because I dont know.. are Caster Camber plates a must? or does it not matter? I dont want to have to buy them if I dont NEED them...

2" it is recommended. 1.5" + it is questionable. It more depends on your driving habits in the 1.5-2" range. If you drive the twisties hard, I would recommend them. Otherwise, you should be able to get away without them. Take it to a good place to get it aligned. You will know they are retarded if they tell you its impossible to align it without them. Camber bolts will enable them to get it in spec even at 2".

I was gonna go with the Super Sport so 1.5 rear and 1.75 front...

I take it easy around corners so I suppose I should be good without them...

I just noticed your thread in your sig.. that helped, wish I would have found that before... Thanx!

If you are spending the money on springs to drop it then you should be willing to spend the money to do it right. CC plates are alot cheaper in the long run than the extra wear you will be putting on your tires without them.

There is only extra wear if you don't get it aligned. He should be able to get it in alignment without CC plates. He might need camber bolts, but that would be the most. I have heard as much as a 2.5" drop being aligned properly with only camber bolts.

2.5 with only camber bolts? AWESOME! What's the cost of those? I'm putting sportlines up front, so i think ill do them.. and im NOT going to midas!
Les Schwab quoted me $124 for camber bolts (installed) and said they bring a 3" drop back into factory alignment specs with them.

If you're hitting the twisties, I personally would shell out the $300 for good CC plates, but if not, you can certainly save yourself some money going the eccentric bolt route.

Ahh come on trust the Midas touch lmao
:blowme midas haha
lol i wish i could. I heard them flooring the hell out of my car after they aligned it..

and they put on a tie rod.. well it wasn't the faulty one they replaced.. and charged me 200 bucks.. with nothing fixed, and not even a straight alignment.

Thanks Dex, i appreciate it.. what's the best place to purchase these?

Any decent alignment shop should have some. otherwise you can get some from MM. They sell em for like 10.50 a piece or something. They are cheap its the install they are charging you for. Still, $150 1 time cost, vs. $300 one time cost. Course there are other benefits for the CC plates, but unless your getting Coil overs or hitting the corners hard it won't really matter.
