FYI, be very careful driving with cut spring's. don't let anyone b/s you, they can make the car behave very strangely (not all car's or all spring's) & you would be far from the first person to loose control of their car because of them.
I did not think it would change the drivability that much.Either way i dont plan on keeping it that way very long, Just untill i can get used pro kit or some h&r's

it may change a bunch, it may change a little bit, but IMO, I wouldn't want me & my car to be used as a crash test dummy to find out just 'cause I was cheap on a very important part of the car :confused:. to each his own I guess. good luck.

Now your making me now want to use them lol...

However i did fix my oil pan issue yesturday fabed up the new pan and got it in there and got the solid mounts bolted up and got the motor high enuff so i could grind down the pass side manifold for clearance.i started to bolt the lightning lower intake on but my my intake bolts i have are to long.So i have to get new ones or cut these.

Im Still trying to decide between 245s and 255s.The 255 sumitumos the ones i found are the new style V pat. tread and i dont think it will look right with them on the front and reg. sumitumos out back.So idk what to do...I have the money to buy the fronts now i just cant make up my mind lol...

Here is a camra phone pic of the car with 1 coil cut off each stock spring sitting on 15 inch V6 wheels
Car Is not full Weight yet since only the Longblock is in it so it should come down a little more buy the time im done.



I think thats the first time my car got a bath in over 6 months Feels Weird washing a non running car.
Im Hopeing the New Wheels and tires fill the wheel well a little better so it looks half decent untill i can get a real set of springs...
 
Yeah, those heads will add another 100 lbs or so all dressed. Should drop around an inch or so more. Looks about stock now. Some bigger wheels will also make a big difference. 17's or 18's would make there little to no gap with the full engine.

Motor had the heads its a long block.Im just missing the blower intake and supercharger parts and the tranny/fluids etc.. And im going to be running 17x10.5 and 17x9s...

So i got a set of 245/45ZR17 Sumitomo HTR Z $156.10 Shipped for the Front Two.

Might go with a 255 or 265 next time.But moneys tight right now so the 245s will have to do.

I have the cash for 1 Rear 315, But waiting till i have the cash to buy both;)
 
Yeah, blanked on the Long Block having heads. What Super charger are you puting on? A centri won't add nearly as much weight as a big old Twin Screw I don't believe. Should look pretty good. You going to cutt any more off the springs?

Nah, im going to leave the springs alone im just going to look for a used Pro kit or some h&r springs.(1.5 Drop Springs)
Im Using a Eaton M112.The Package the Supercharger and parts came in was 98Lbs.Not counting the heat exchanger,water lines,water,ice box,water pump,So with the rest of the parts it might be around 125Lbs im adding to the front of the car plus the weight of the auto Trans so it should come down a bit more.The 17s should help fill up the wheel well as well.Just want it to look half decent untill i get some real springs under there.
 
I bet your excited to get the new wheels on there! If your not satisified with the ride height, you can take out the isolators..

i did that on the rear, taped em up, and no problems

Yea still have o buy the rears but eerything else is here ready to go minus lugnuts.I realy Want coil overs upfront but dont have the cash so i dont know what im going to be doing about suspention.I might try the tape idea i guess it should work lol

I have not had time to get the front tires mounted and balanced and im trying to get up the cash for the rear rubbers but in the mean time i got the blower on and cut the hood out.
I posted some pics in the Picture section...
