Holy crap, a guy on TMS saw the MM&FF C&L Intake Manifold article, and the car gained 27rwhp, then 4rwhp more by adding a Whipple Single Blade TB.

The cars previous mods were BBK LT's, X-Pipe, Flowmaster A/T's, C&L Racer CAI, a Tuner, and Comp Thumper Cams-TH265LL ones.

So 25-30rwhp from the C&L Manifold and removing the CMCV's combined. Not bad, not bad. :)

idc what dyno it is....thats a 57 point difference between the two...that is shitty i know these cars can make some serious torque N/A....its just which company is going to prove it

Yeah, if you want to move these heavy cars TORQUE is your friend. Anything that reduces torque in any RPM is not worth the HP gain. I am even of thinking of putting my plates back on with my Procharger to help the low-end side of things regardless of the loss of HP on the high end.

I think those numbers will be forgotten in about 4 weeks. That guys torq was low period, even on a before dyno, 340 to 315? no dice when most cammed guys are making more like 335 torq to begin with. Plenty of information on that situation and that test and it will surface soon enough im sure.

Its a decent mod for what and when it would be used anyway.

Its no different then the JPC intake, I gained tons of power starting at 5100, i drove the car, raced the car, i know what it gained and where. BBR puts one on a car with heads and his stage II cams and said he gained nothing below 6500 and not that much up top. You guys know im not lying, and i'm not saying he is lying, but who knows, some cars, some dynos, some days right. We dynoed this car no less then 30 times in a two week period. The gains were there putting it on and loosing the same power taking it off.

A automatic car will throw the torq numbers out of wack b/c of the converter . Its never accurate.
Im the type that doesn't believe much of the magazine article b/c things can be printed incorrectly or fudged. I look at it , if it says 27 hp gains lets cut that in half lets say it gains 17 on a N/A car not to bad for my standards , but then again I have a big Turbo Kit , and I also already have the Intake , just waiting to do some testing when I get the car back from ATF.
