These are not SLR, however I thought I would share them. The flooding is from March when we had server thunderstorms and it caused flooding. The highway you see there is about 50ft from the normal stage of the water.

Ive got a cannon XS dslr that I enjoy the hell out of. I like macro and birding, polar opposites right?

Those look pretty good to me, some are a bit over and under contrasted. Good depth on the watch shots. The pics of the girl look a little soft, but other than that, great pics!

the second picture of the trees, is pretty over exposed, but would look good if the sun was in a different spot, you gotta be careful when you take pictures into the sun like that, its not especially good for the camera I don't think.

The pictures of the girl are "eh" the first one is a good portrait but the rest of them are weird. the cat pictures are good, the last picture the cat is out of focus , and you chopped off its ears which is a bit distracting, the pictures of the watch are pretty good
