Since I've owned my car all I've really wanted to do was supercharge the hell out of it and make the biggest numbers I could because I thought that was all I needed to go fast.
I went to the track this weekend and couldn't muster anything better than a 2.2 '60 foot on street tires. I know VERY little about suspension, but I do know that I don't care about going fast in the twisties, just in a straight line. I will still be driving the car around town some but it is not my daily driver so performance is more important than comfort.
What parts do I need to be shopping for? What brands are good quality and a good value? How difficult is the labor on these kind of projects? Any special tools? I have a budget of $1000 to spend on suspension work. Tires will not be coming out of that $1000.
Lastly, any links to good articles or write ups about our suspensions.
Thanks,
Adam
