Do you have a brand selected, as far as a nitrous kit? I have used NX on numerous occasion and the seem to be a fairly complete set up. I have installed a dyno tune on bike, and it was quite decent. Never used a NOS brand or Edelbrock kit B4.

Had an Autolite insulator crack on me once...drove me nuts until I figured out what was going on.

Seen another motor that had the electrode come off like yours....bad stuff.
I have used the Autolite Racing plugs for years and have never had a problem. Maybe you got a bad batch?????

A wideband o2 is an oxygen sensor and display that is able to read your air fuel ratio real time so you always know what your motor is doing.. Cost about 400-500 bucks for a good one... Read up on them to help you understand better..Unless someone else feels like typing more...

+1 for the wideband. A UEGO or wideband is an invaluable tuning tool. A must have if ANY major mods are planned

Maybe....most all of my racing buddies run them with no issues.
Plus...it was just one plug out of hundreds that Ive used.
From a numbers point of view...I guess thats pretty good.

Well to each his own I have had the same good luck with NGK's.. Plus it was a cherry on top when Coast High Performance told me to put them in the crate motor I bought from them...

I run autolites also with no problems. I run an nx nitrous system on the old motor. Stock 86 200hp motor with 119,000 miles loved the 100 shot.

I ran 13.39 wi the 100 shot on the car. that was leaving off of idle.

tried the 150 and blew a head gasket.oops!!!

Maybe you are just too damn hard on equipment :D

Overall nitrous info: a "dry" nitrous system is nitrous only, a "wet" system mixes fuel w/ the N2O in the throttle body. A dry system is typically used for lower HP ratings. My buddy has one on his Suzuki SV 650 S bike. He runs the 40HP jet and no problems. A wet system, in my opinion, is more stable in that it has a "mixer" (the fuel) and is not quite a harsh of a shock to your internals. The fuel acts as a cushion of sorts.

A stock fuel pump on an EFI motor should be able to sustain a 100HP shot. If you R concerned about leaning out, run an inline booster pump with a regulator. Good idea anyway for future upgrades
So your saying that I can run a 100 dry shot on my car with the stock fuel pump and be ok? I was told not to go over 75 on the stock pump.

I wouldn't run a stock fuel pump with any amount of nitrous.......

+1 on that throw a 255lph in there and as long as your timing is right you might be able 2 get away with a 150 if u r lucky!!!
