ok guys i am having problems with my car and i am wondering if my car has had a octane tune for 93 and i have been running 87 would that cause my car to run bad. if so what would be the symptoms. thanks for the help in advance

if the car is tuned for 93 (an actual tune), the car can be detonating and having afr issues as well.

well i think i am going to try and test this theory all its gonna cost me is a little extra gas money i hope this is the problem cause this **** is getting on my nerves.

see when i first go the car i did but about a year ago i stopped cause i got married and then my wife and i had a baby so i just started putting 87 in and it dawned on me that right after that the car started having some problems. this has been going on for a while.

You should feel some knocking I believe in order to switch to another level... But if your car is stock and you don't have it tuned then putting 93 will be just a waste of money...
