your stock 7.5 should be fine dude. That's what the t-birds and (some)cougars used and they basically have the same motor as you except they already have the blower stock.
Cool so its a common setup, I like that! Im warming up to the idea..

its still not an easy swap... again check the threads on V6Power.net
Ok I will, Ive never installed one before so Ill research everything first and ask alot of questions and make sure Ive got all the right tools for the job first..But I did re-build my rotating assy so Im a good candidate for supercharging...I would have my heads sent out and lighten up the valve-train maybe with some lighter rockers and maybe better push rods but I dont know if its worth it or not...

installing the SC can be a pain, but thats because of some of the custom stuff you have to do (i.e. custom bent brake lines, extending hoses and wires). installing the SC itself is just taking off the top end of the engine and replacing it

So its an upper intake manifold with a dive pully on it...but what about oil on a M90? you gotta pump oil to it like a supercharger on a piece of heavy equipment? Sound like a lot of "line" work..guess I have to get a new set of line wrenches then? any drilling and tapping??

no heavy machinery is required to oil the m90. you wont have to do any drilling and tapping either... just cutting, splicing, and extending.
Damn! I wonder how they keep those bearings on that compressor shaft from burning out? Engine coolant? Guess the rpms arent that high!

you oil the supercharger, just dont need heavy machinery to do it
LOL no you have misread my post..superchargers on heavy equipment pump pressurized oil from the oil pan up into the SC housing..I was asking if i had to do that with a car supercharger..LOL

oh lol... not with the m90.. you would have to do that with a vortech though
well..the M90 looks like its a ok way to go then..what do you think install time is? 16 hours?
