Flow is Flow. I guarantee the new trick flow heads will destroy every other 2v head under boost. Also, the new TF heads respond better to a slightly different cam design, so buying cams for a PI head will not be as good as the TF cams will be. Just something to consider.

+1 I wouldnt spin the stock top end anything past 6500 rpm.....just not enough spring there to make it happen lol

Thanx man, its defa big job and not having a garage sure makes it tough. I pulled the old engine a few months ago and got the new one like a month and a half ago. The new engine was at the shop getting timed for like 3 weeks. I started the install like 2 two weeks ago. My dyno date is next saturday and I dont wanna miss it plus I miss driving my baby. I should be able to get the car running this comin week, its wont be 100% without the new injectors but itll be enough to make sure everythin is working and break in the new engine.

right on man, hope you see some good numbers!! i pulled my motor out 2 months ago, and its been sitting at the engine shop since then. Im having him do all the boring, and timing and all that good stuff. im still waiting on the damn pistons tho!! it sux waiting cause like you said, i miss driving my girl!!

So as you see with the pics its just about done. Its been raining non stop here in ny so its tough to get anything done. I was out last night with some cardboard and a lil party tent gettin the intake and powersteering lines on. Got the oil lines for the blower and a few othere lil things to finish up this week before it goes to the dyno saturday!!

Just bout got everythin finished up today, cept that one ground wire and some fluids.

Had some trouble with the intercooler piping though. I was a disappointed with the welding I got done at Pitbull Performance, as you see in the pics theres a big section of melted metal in there. Theres was only one hole there to be plug so Im not sure why that is even there. It looked sketchy so I was playing with it with my finger and some metal broke of that would have otherwise went into my supercharger! I called Pitbull all afternoon and couldnt get through to anyone and when I stopped by the shop it was closed. This makes me worry bout the other fitting that was welded on, it looks like there could be some loose metal in it too. Im gonna do some cutting to clean it up since i need to drop the car off at Realspeed tomorrow for gears and a dyno tune.

Thanx guys. I got the welds fixed, the guy was pretty cool about it. Dropped the car off at the shop late saturday afternoon. They had to push my dyno date to monday cuz they were backed up a lil, worked out well though cuz I wouldnt have been ready anyway and now I dont have to reschedule. Just sucks Im gonna piss it on the dyno again.

Got the new clutch in its a Spec stage2, went in great. Only problem I had was with the throw out bearing, some how the inner race got damaged so it wouldnt fit on the input shaft. I picked a new one up at Ford to get it done and need to call Spec tomorrow to fix that, only now I can find what I did with it :/. Also took the intake apart to clean the paper towel out, doh

I was hitting 13 psi and in the low 400s, that was very conservative, was trying to save the block. Im hoping to break 500 now, the stroker should def help.
