so which do you suggest for daliy driving? if 3.73 , will i notice a big difference in acceration over stock?
oh good u replied after editing ur title 300 times lol, yes it will make a noticeable difference and u can go 4.10's daily driving but if you do alot of long distance its going to hit your wallet hard with the gas economy.

no you won't. 4.10 will hurt your mpg, but not as significantly as juggs is saying. It will hurt it by 1 maybe 2 mpg. If your car is a manual when your at your cruising speed just upshift to put your rpms down. If you don't drive on the highway that much even more of a reason to get 4.10. Your gas will be hurt, but not by as much as everyone makes it seem.

im more or less saying on a highway he si going to run out of cam, and hang in the high revs and it will eat his fuel lol..... cuz i know when im hitting the highway im givin her a little more juice and moving quick lol and wit the 4.10's im almost 100% positive he will hit rev limiter way before governor am i correct? so he will run out of cam.

lol np but when u change the title of the thread it gives peeps like me a brain fart lol

yeah.. i have on 02 v6 auto, torry, and from what ive read in various threads (searching stuff helps, too) ill be going w/ 4.10s after i get a new rear and my current car issues.. just like cricket says it maybe 1 or 2 mpg.. but its possible that u can gain that loss back (i read it in another thread) with certain bolt ons.. maybe cricket can confirm or reject this

yea, but think about the breather mods that actually help your gas consumption. CAI, Exhaust, and Underdrive pulleys can all help raise your mpg, and also if he is gonna go with gears he will need a new tune, and with the livewire you can get a gas saver tune which if I remember correctly you can gain somewhere around 3 mpg.

He won't run out of cam. Also those gears aren't steep enough to run out of gear and hurt his top speed either. He will be fine.

hmmm i was told by the mechanic at the ford dealership that id run out of cam with those 4.10's

i have never heard of a single person ever having a problem like that...and I have never even heard of a person running out of cam either. Just wait for AB to come in and speak on the subject. He has 4.10s will recommend them, and can explain it a lot better than I can.

k if thats the case then i will go with the 4.10's my mechanic just told me with the way i drive id be hitting my rev limiter
