no i just thought it was funny..i know what your saying but if you throw some heads, intake , cam etc...on it...its just gunna be another burnout queen foxbody...throw some shocks/struts, sub frames and control arms on it..that right there would make a huge difference...also i think i said it..a short throw shifter would be a real nice upgrade...also gears you can find for about $150-$175...install maybe $100?...thats always a big help

wouldnt do a cam untill you can change heads....but i would run a short belt and delete every accesory you dont need and set up an electric fan with a new alternator. And my own personal opinion is Summit is great for research but overpriced on most items i have ever looked at.....do some online shopping and find it cheaper

this is wat i plan on doing, there is a kit, for 125 bucks that comes with a small belt, and the bracket to relocate the PS pump where the AC used to be

dont buy idler pulleys...

i skipped ahead so forgive me for not reading everything but i'd do a nitrous kit to get my speed fix now while i saved for a good top end package.

well im gonna go motor mods for now, ill worrie about the rest later i need to just upgrade whats there before adding new factors.

Dont you need a 3G alternator to do an electric fan? Will the 80$ summit racing brand pulleys work? will 1.7 rockers work on the stock heads?
No you don't need a 3G alternator with an electric fan, unless you get an amperage hog like the Taurus or Mark VIII fan. I'm sure the Summit pulleys will be just fine. 1.7 rockers will work on stock heads.

I was wondering. I have a black magic fan and my car charges fine. And what's a 3g alternator. I hear 3g all the time but :dunno
The Black Magic fan only draws 13 amps. The Taurus and Mark VIII fans draw 40 amps which is more than half of the stock fox body alternators capacity. The 3G alternator is a different factory Ford alternator that has a higher output and most are swapable to the fox body cars.

tell me this is it worth it to keep my motor stock, put on pullys and delete the a/c, smog, get the elec. fan and get a good exhaust maybe some suspension work. And save up buy all trick flow, intake/heads/and get forged pistons and rods and the 1.7's and do all that at the same time??

i would just stick with the most afforable things right now. look out there for a gt40 setup up, if you find one let us know what the price isand what it is off of. trust me you will like the gains from it, money well spent for budget builders hands down.
