both sides? if so...trace wiring back because you said red had 12v at ecc relay. so there would be a connector probaly behind one of the kickpanels thats corroded.

same problem

i just did a 4 to conversion im having the same problem the fuel pump is not coming on i also replaced the relay with no luck.I'f i find out why i will let you know please do the same.Good luck

wiring issues still

Did you also have a problem with the horn not working, and the right blinker flashing the speedometer. I got the horn issue resolved, but not the turn signal. Don't let anyone tell you a v8 to 4 cyl swap is a piece of cake because either they haven't done it, or they had someone else do it.

I still can't get the fuel pump to work, I may have to NASCAR it, and run 12V to a toggle switch and label it "fuel" Running out of patience

I suggested at one time to make a section on this swap, but to no avail :)

might sound alil crazy to you but dis connect inertia and check for voltage ..if the pump is fauly it could have a very high draw causin the low voltage.(disconnecting the inertia switch will not allow the pump to go on).not very common but i had that happen to me abouot 2 months ago ..i would do that its very easy to check and if thats the problem great if not then its prolly a bad wire i would then check the computer for 12v and trace the wire from there. make sure u have 12v befor and after the relay

WHAT???? :crazy The computer does not turn on the fuel pump. It is in no part of any computer circuit.

wow not part of it lol what turns it on hopes and dreams ...u guys are truely special
This is not a toyota. thisis a mustang. starter solenoid(relay) to inertia switch to f.p. relay, fuse, to pump. OMG it doesn't even have a oil pressure switch. :crazy WOW you just ask for it BADYEAR!!!! hahaha

its not a timed relay when u turn the key on the pump prims and then when u start it it stays on ...wow stupid people have one reason for living
hahahaha what are you giving your opinions on in here- the hayes manual or the owners manual!!!!! hahaha

if it got the power from the solenoid it would be on all the time if its on the batt side or only on if the starter motor ic crankin the engine over
u guys want to be right about something but its just not working
wrong again. the solenoid/starter relay (NOT ON THE STARTER) gets a signal frm the ignitionEDIT- which gives juice to the pump circuit!!!hahaha.. DUDE I hope 89stangGT or darrell or any other moderator bans you.
