Cobra bumper on...1/2

ill leave it white, ive grown to like the color, plus i dont really want to get the door jambs etc painted because it would cost way too much, plus i kinda made my car around the whole white/black theme, so ill stick to it :)
and weems car is the ****.

where did you buy it and for how much?? the front bumper??

I have the funds for one of 4 things, exhaust, one of the bumpers, or the skirts. :yes

it was that thing before, from blue oval, the front and rear bumper were $650. the rear was genuine and the front was aftermarket but fit up perfect, actually. then the foglight bezel kit from late model restoration was $169. the sideskirts i bought from a guy off SVTperf, they came to like...$410 us shipped, which is good i guess, genuine ford gets costly.
the foglight/bezel kit came with the 2 bezels, 2 foglights, all the hardware, and the harness pigtails for the foglights.

ah yeah the chin spoiler was genuine ford and ....150 or something from blue oval. that fit up good too.
if you already have a mach 1 chin spoiler you can make that fit if you really want to.

i know what you mean. there is a chin piece too right? for the front bumper? btw ill stay here instead of hopping back and forth b/w threads.

Dude, the car looks sick! Have you gotten it priced to have it all painted? are you just gonna have the bumpers n skirt paint matched or go ahead and re-finish the whole car, i know your leaving it white, just wondering what route your going.

Because when i get mine done this summer/winter im gonna end up just having the entire car painted because of the fact that its got a couple door dings and some hair scratches.

Also, do they make a billet grill for the base of the cobra bumper? because like someone previously stated, with out an intercooler there, its kinda "open" and i think a chrome billet grill there would looks sick!

thanks man! I just sprayed my rad support flat black because it was silver and rusted and looked horrible. I got a quote back in november, I gotta get the whole car done, the clear coat in spots is peeling and there's bare metal showing from when I put my Mach 1 c-pillars on. I got quoted for $2000 for the whole car and $1500 for a new quarter panel cause mines ****ed.. :(

2g aint too shabby, im hopin that my buddy will shoot me about the same price. Are you just going plain white? or gonna spice things up a little? cause with mine, im intending on doin some ghost flames or something different. figured after spending 10g on a motor might as well make the car look like i got something haha.

haha yeah after spending that much you might as well. i was going to get just a slight pearl or flake in the paint, nothing gay and flashy, but suble just to add to the factory color. other than that, thats all im going for.

the car would look good if you painted the rear half black and the top half white lol

i got my bumper off ebay prepainted and all and it matched up damn near perfectly. have had it like that for almost 2years now. gimma your email addy and i'll send ya some pics. i could never post pics for some reason. i put a little cheap mesh grille in the front and it looks good. just advice if you want to cover up the big gap since there is no intercooler. also did you not have side scoops before? i see they are black too.

i had side scoops but they were those gt ones that stuck out, and i wanted the bullitt ones, so i gotta get everything painted along with the cobra side skirts soon.

looks good..I went with a HO Fibertrend 4" cowl and I love it. I can tell you this though..a GT hood will hit the Cobra bumper there at the head lights/grille. So if you want a perfect fit, I would check to see if a hood for a Cobra has reliefs under the hood.

im prety sure the cobra hood just sits further up. i was looking at the HO ones, but i was looking at a 2inch one the 4 would look like have power that i cant back up lol

My buddy and i were talkin about the hoods the other day, at first i was thinkin about going with a 4" cowl, but like you said, makes it look like theres alot of motor. i think a 2 inch would be awsome. course, i've always loved the look of the stalker 2 hood.

is that the one with the 2 scoops that look ricey?
i like the mach 1 hood or the cowl, but id be copying weems with the mach 1 plus the shaker fake thing is kind of lame, so id probably go with a cowl.
i dont know whats best though, cervinis or the ho fibertrends

haha yea, the stalker 2 is the double cowl that looks kinda ricey, but i kinda like it (it not only looks kinda ricey but it kinda looks like a pontiac hood as well haha)
