Will the car be on the same dyno that it made the 336rw??
Yep....same tuner, DYNO, and the only changes will be the heads and granetelli 60,000 COP's........this DYNO is very consistant ....and will have both SAE and STD numbers.....the last run on the dyno was 225/227.......that is with a miss from the number 2 cylinder valve train being messed up......got alot of oil seepage and possible a bad lash adjuster....we will find out....lol......I got all new lash adjusters, followers, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, timing cover gaskets, The best the car has put down was 336/336 and the the least with this combo was 324/325.......those were both STD Numbers and the 336 pull was in Dec and the 324 pull was in July..............

what would you sell them for even know they need rebuilt? or could i P&P my own heads for the cost?
I would let them go for 600.00.....they need new plug inserts and probably valve seals..........but they flow great! I was going to have them reworked for another car but will let them go because I need to rebuild my rear end...lol

get some bigger cams
I don't need bigger cams.....the power comes in great and the VT's love ported heads........hopefully they like the added flow of the new heads....we shall see.....my stall, gearing and entire build is based off the rpm range that I wanted for it to be a street car.......so I will keep it for now......depending on how much room I have to grow I may change cams when I do my BB or ford racing 5.0 block......

what are plug inserts?
timeserts or spark plug inserts.......they need to be pulled and redone.....other than that they need new valve seals and to be checked over......if I wouldn't have got the TFS heads I would have just gotten these fixed up.......

You wanted heads for a long time you have posted and have singing there praises forever.
Well the proof will be in the pudding......they are everything I have expected so far and fax lake has taken them to the next level....or so we shall see....these are the 1st heads ported by fox lake other than the piece of cast that was sent to them....they will post the pictures on their website....I for one think these heads will shine....dyno results will be soon fellas....and 1/4 times also...

You stil might consider getting the new cam's from TF. Their new heads respond better to a slightly different cam profile. If i recall correctly, the stage 2 cams from them flowed better than the current stage 3 profiles for the PI heads. Just something to think about.

The new TFS cams were designed for the PI heads not the TFS.........TFS is putting together some new cam profiles for the new heads.....their shop car was tested with the TFS stage 1 cam for the PI heads..........other than the location change of the valves the cams work the same.......maybe due to flow numbers and RPM range there will be some new cams that will shine.....that probably won't be for some time......we only have a few cars that have posted results with the new heads so far......time will tell......I am sure my car will be a good indicator of what type of cam profiles would be needed....but need to see a graph first....but as far as flow....cams don't flow......its the profiles that allow the exhaust and intake events to happen.......this we be done with trial and error......too much data at this point to get it right the first time....
