I wanted to know what the full potential for my car is, and does ford tune down the hp of our cars?

"There's no replacement for displacement"

...but with the smaller V6 engine, you want to increase the efficiency. Easiest way is to get blown, cold or nos. Beware that with increased torque, you are gonna tax that tranny, drivetrain, etc., and if you add too much power, gonna open the money pit...for suspension, torque converter, gears, etc, etc, etc. :yes

also note those cars do not make great torque just nice hp

there is no replacement for displacement. im not saying go get a v8... but that statement is 100% true... u do the same mods to a bigger displacement engine as u do the smaller... guess who gets the bigger gains EVERY time. the bigger engine..
false...this has been proven.

power is not everything. a heavy 602 big block vs an aluminum based block will weigh much less and make maybe a lil less power

not to mention compression ratio etc...

370z vs 05 GT...370 will walk it. same power. GT has more displacement..

yeah a lot of the mods are the same price.. you can get reasonable power out of a v6 for decent money but it pretty much all evens out.. u can get reasonable power for a v8 for the same amount after the initial cost.. i can see y ppl argue its cheaper to build up a v6 just there isnt the same potential.. depends on if ur going for a street car or an insane rocket that cant be driven on the street u kno?
