GT500 rims and tires weigh 60lbs each
240lbs of rotational mass.
Borgarts with et street 28inch in the rear would weigh 35lbs each
and skinnies would weigh 22 lbs each.
no sure what the exact measurments on the 17s with pirellis is but i think i measured them once and it was 48lbs each.
So skinnies up front would be 52lb reduction over stock 17s and 76lbs less then gt500 18s with 255s.
The rear your lossing about 70lbs of rotational mass over 18s with 285s.
Its came up before figured Id share.
So over 18 inch rims with the tires most guys are running the bogarts and et street, (not et drag radial) would save you 146lbs. Over the stock 17s and pirellis it saves you about 96lbs. Unless my math is wrong.
bogarts with mickeys, K member, a arms, no sway bar, spare out of the trunk spydershaft with me in the car, 3510lbs with a half tank of gas. Whats gas 5lbs per gallon? Running with a 1/8 3490?
