I felt like I was getting the launch wrong. I never cleaned my tires off by spinning them at all or anything (not sure if you should do that anyway). It was my first time out though so I was just following the lead of the car in front of me lol.

I was told no burning out on street tires because it makes traction worse.
i would be happy if i was you.My best on streets was 13.9.if you hit that ur first time then it gets better for you with practice.

I got pretty much the same mods as you, got 8.55 in the 1/8th (no speed :( ) with a 2.10 60 ft on street (255/45/18 BFG KDW) @ 34 psi pretty much sea level (DA was about 1800 if I recall).
Drove thru the water box, did a short burnout to clean the threads.
Drove it off the line, meaning, slipping the clutch while trying to have minimal spinning. A little bit of spin is good, but it's a fine line between just enough and too much.
I'm sure I can squeeze a little more out of it, but it'll take some more practice.

so uh. will you get to use it once it's actually in the car? I'm not talking about you opening up the box like it's christmas..

I may shift it sometime to see how it feels. :)

Me and my dad will be installing it ourselves when he has the time. We are going to drive the car up on some ramps so we can access the bolts a lot easier.

Ok so my car is tuned but not dynoed yet if that makes any sence. They were working on my car from 9:30 to 5:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. They said the vct was a pain to figure out and then my sct kept freezing while data logging. They switched to there USB cable and everything was ok then. They said the car is dialed in and the only thing left is to put it on the dyno and fine tune everything. CAR RUNS AWESOME! I don't know if this is how it is always done, but they tuned it by driving around and getting the data log numbers on the street. Don't know how much of the differance is the delete plates or the tune, but the differance is amazing. They also turned my shift light on. It's kinda cool. As soon as I hit 6600 rpm my light comes on. Going to the track tomorrow and then straping the car to the dyno Monday early afternoon.

Delete plates are in. Very easy! It only took about 45 minutes with 2 friends. Car won't idle without dying. Can't wait for the dyno... Any guesses? Don't have any prizes, but would like to know what u guys guess. Mods are stage 2 spr's, mac lt's, o/r x, jlt, udp's, Race delete plates, short belt, 4.10's, and 20" rims.
what's funny is that Dyno Joe told me the SPR cams wouldnt work without the delete plates

Ok, little update. Ran a 13.1 tonight with a 1.98 60ft and having to let off cuz I spun so bad. This car is running a lot better. Hooking up this car is an easy 12.xx. Weighed my car in at 3415! I weighed in at 335 Which made my running weight 3725. Temp was 90*
