What color should I paint my car?

I'm starting to think black.. because the factory color of the car was black and the engine bay is already black. And I kinda want to keep it a little original because of the rarity of an 88 t-top lx with leather

Pearl white looks great, had an escalade that color, but the only problem is anytime you have paint work done you have to have someone that is really good at matching and they have to paint a LOT more of the car because they have to blend it, where plain white you can just block and paint usually.

Keep in mind: with a less expensive paint job the main difference is the prep work and white covers small dings and flaws better than any other color
Black will show EVERY little imperfection on the surface of the car.

Is your 5.0 dropped at all?? i knew a guy with plain white it was lx and lowered it looked real good. i think you will be happy with that.

No, but I plan on lowering it 1.5-2 inches after paint. I think the plain white with dark tint, black rims, and tinted tails will look good. Thats what I plan on doing

I had a 92lx that was white and I had it dropped with dark windows and I loved that car, I would however probably go with a silver metallic in it if I went white again....also had a friend with a white lx notch with black saleen rims and it looked sick. I like white especially for a budget paint job because it does hide the flaws so well....
