Well I have been going thru my car today and working on the suspension....looks like my suspension wasn't set properly....the car was off by 1 1/2 inches in the front ride height and the passenger side rear was 1 inch low....so my Instant center of gravity was off by about 3-4 ft.....and to the right..lol....I will be adjusting it today and get ready to put the subframes in tomorrow since I wasn't able too on Friday....also took my car to a tranny shop to check it out......they think the fluid and filter needs to be changed and the tail housing is shot..they said the tranny looks good but the shutter from the converter is bad.......considering the stock tranny service is every 30,000 miles stock and I have a 4000 stall, shift kit and 14,000 on it so far I may need to service it every 10,000 miles....price you pay for performance right?? lol....that is good news as I can get a tail housing for cheap with a mod specific to help fluid flow....there seems to be alot of slop in there....so I will change it out this week.......still waiting on the new cams......I go back to work in a week and a half so I am trying to get everything done before hand.....I can't wait till October gets here and the cool air is back.....going to start working and makeing the car look pretty again.....lots of detailing to do....

Got my Cams today! Can't wait to get them installed......called my engine Guru but he hasn't called back yet.....trying to get her done within the next week......they are Billet cams 233/237 with a 111 LSA....... .550/.540 int/ext......can't wait to get these puppies in!

They look close to Comp 270s except with a little more overlap.

Bullet Racing made the cams......the specs were designed around the TFS heads so these are specific cams for these heads....look at modularheadshop website and you will see all the grinds they have already.......can't wait to see how they perform...

I thought they had some footage of me going down the track on Saturday but for some reason they didn't get me....It was a camaro club that was doing the video taping and well...they cater to their own....lol....plus alot of them got there feelings hurt...lmao......

I have strange 10 way adjustable coil overs in the front with a PA racing K-member with arm's without spring perches.......the rear I have steeda aluminum UCA's and LCA's with MM rear coil overs......all I do for the track is reach under the front tire and move the setting from the firmest to the lightest....and the front end becomes very lose.....I love the performance of the strange but the noise sucks......MM is what I might change out to later for the front coils.....they have no road noise from what I hear....the suspension now handles more firmly and corners better than stock...and thats without the sway bar in the front.....coil overs fix alot of the geometry of the car...

what rear shocks are you running... i have been looking at doing coilovers in the rear andif i cant find a kit that will work with the strange shocks I will just have to narrow the rearend and weld in mounts for them

Saturday the 12th we will be installing the cams...tried to get it done sooner but my builder is going out of town for a few days.....we are excited....I am sure these cams will produce good power.....we talked a bit and believe that the car should hit 11.20's or close to it with the new cams.....and good air.....not too shabby for a 2V......throw in some skinny tires up front, new hood and maybe some 15 in rims in the back and 10's should be around the corner.....I just need to pick up 25-30 HP and she should be there.....it's just speculation and bench racing at this point but 370-385 would be nice....if not then maybe a TFS intake later down the road....who knows....lol

Well...I registered my car with North Carolina today....got my inspection and got some new plates! Went custom this time..... "2V N/A" is my plate.....pretty cool.....surprised no one had that yet.........can't wait to do the new cam install.....putting my sub frames in tomorrow......or Friday.......found a shop that can do it.....3 miles from the house......lots of good guys around where I live....so can't complain........the car is running good....can't wait run her in some good air!...lol........setting the suspension tomorrow to get her ready for subs and the track.........can't wait!
