Hey guys. Went up to the Drag Strip this past Wednesday. Was trying to beat my 13.408 an hit a 13.3 but that track was alittle slick. I got the Drag radials on after the 15 minute break. Could only hit a 13.9 with street tires.

Only got 3 runs in with drag radials

Best:
60 Foot - 2.01
1/8 Mile - 8.761 @ 81.36mph
1/4 Mile - 13.548 @ 103.03mph

2nd
60 Foot - 2.033
1/8 Mile - 8.807 @ 81.12mph
1/4 Mile - 13.586 @ 103.01mph

3rd
60 Foot - 2.087
1/8 Mile - 8.881 @ 81.09mph
1/4 Mile - 13.601 @ 103.22mph

Like I said track was getting alittle slick. Could see moist on cars that were sitting for a few.

There were 2 Nissan GT-Rs that came in around 8 :p Black and White. Right off the bat the black GTR hit a 11.5 @ 124.95mph. That was awsome. The dude looked like they were 20 years old...wtf?? Good night though. Going up this coming Wednesday then its closed til April. Hoping to hit a 12.9-13.3

thanks bro. Howd you hit 12's on the stock longblock? I know its obviously not impossible. Im trying to hit that without Longtubes. What was your 1/8 mile? What mods?

Im putting it in 2nd, spinning that at 5500rpm for like 10-13 seconds. Then dump the clutch at like 3000rpm. And yup stock 28spline.

13.4 is a good time for what you've got there.

You would probably need a "miracle" launch and hurricane winds behind you to put you in the 12s at this point...

I've come to the conclusion that as much as I want 12s I'm going to have to upgrade my car some more to get there.

1/8 mile i run 8.17s-8.18s

take your time at the track. at test and tune you can ignore the tree and launch at your own will. it wont effect your time.

You can hit 12s real easy with your car. You need a good set of tires on 15" wheels and If you can do it then, just practice and you will be better at the driver mod part and you will do it no problem.

Thanks a lot guys. I just picked up some 16" wheels for my own Nittos instead of the 17". Going back up Wednesday, looks like its going to be pretty cold.

2001bullittgt - Really bogging at 3k? To be honest man, I keep the air pressure no lower than 26psi. I guess I slightly feather it. I let up real quick though.

F8L GT - Thats bad a*s man. I hit an 8.6 an was stoked. Never mind getting an 8.1. Im going HiTech 2 Cams in the winter with some control arms, subframe connectors and something else not sure yet.
