I have a black mustang w/ the red leather interior upgrade and a roush hood scoop...i am wondering what color stripes you guys think would look best, i am getting them from the front to back across the hood, roof, and then down the back of the car. I am leaning to a dark grey, but crimson would match the interior and it doesnt look bad either. Just tell me what you guys think.

This guy's mustang is hot! i suggest you copy him and get crimson! i have silver with red interior and i plan on getting red strips... i already have red brake calipers.... i always wondered why my girlfriend liked to match everything... now i knowbadacestang said:

haha thanks guys...im doing a two stripe with a small pinstripe on either side, and i WAS set on gray but now you guys are talkin me out of it! j/k, but those crimson stripes are sick...i guess ill just have to wait another week to figure out what i want

www.ralleystripes.com has a number of kits under 40 bucks... If you wanted to go that route you could change them up every week. And you thought you had to settle for just one choice...

TO MRDESTBOI -I pulled them off because they were badly sun damaged (fried). In addition - I wanted to install my hood scoop and I didn't like the look of the stripes going "under" the scoop. Very tacky.I think mine looks better now with one solid color

Speaking of...what kind of scoop is that? I'm torn...I've got a black GT and thinking of white stripes like yours Shawny. I love the way that looks....but then again that scoop and all 1 color just looks absolutely SICK! Damn...guess the only option is to buy a second 'stang so I can have 1 of each..... =)

i'd go for a darker red metallic. just about any place that does signs or decals on cars could show you their book of all the different colors you could get. in my opinion get them wide......REAL WIDE

someone mentioned earlier that balck on black would look really good. With flat black stripes does it even show up? Anyone do this? I just sent mine in to the ford dealership yesterday to get the silver put on.
