i just brought a GT. and i am going to swap the whole car into my V6 base (with help). but as i was under the GT i notice the springs were cut and a bit lose. Could the V6 spring be used on my GT. I am not a mechanic, This is my first project and learning from it. So some advice or idea's could be helpful thanks.

The GT has to way to much body damage and the car has no VIN and no papers. so i brought the car to take the GT parts. Got the car for about $800. but the questions is, is there a difference between the GT springs and V6 ones?

I believe the springs are interchangeable, because when you buy lowering springs it's the same kit for the 99-04 GT and the 99-04 V6. Why are you going through the trouble of putting springs back on the GT if you're not going to drive it? And if the springs on the GT were cut and loose, don't put them on your V6.

will the springs interchange, yes. the spring rates are the same as well if i remember too. i personally would look into doing a set of aftermarkets while you are there as well.

everything will swap right over from the GT. i knew you were talking about it being a donor car, the swap is just going to be time consuming.

if you pull everything out, then its not all that bad. take a lot of pics or have a friend with a gt bring his car over so you can see everything after you get started putting it all back together. the wiring isnt that bad, i could probably do it with eyes closed since i have done this crap so much. please tell me that the rear axle is fine and you are installing it as well.
