Hey guys, I'm probably going to buy the Eibach Pro Kit to drop my 04 GT vert, and I've heard that camber on the front can be an issue if you drop more than 1". To avoid spending all the money on new caster/camber plates, will camber adjustment bolts suffice? I'm looking at the Steeda kit, they're only about 30$, which is a lot nicer than $200+ for the c/c plates. Also, I only need 1 pair of these bolts right, because they would only go on the front?http://www.steeda.com/products/camber_adjust_bolt_set_struts.php

If your doing the work your self. then $30.00 is nothing compaired to the lowering kit. Tire wear and handling might be your next factor. Talk to an alignment shop or two and see what they have to say.

I optioned for the easy way out $500. "Hotchkis" camper/caster plates installed by the professional. I have two sets of marked alignment locations on the strut towers. One for street driving and one for an aggresive negative camber, negitive caster and positive toe. for autocross racing.

Iv' desiced to go with camber plates this year to improve my autocross times.

How many of you use camber plates, what camber/caster/toe settings do you use?

As I understand this is somewhat of a trial and error. So I left it up the Les Schwab alignment team to set me up with an aggressive camber setting.

The next auto cross is two and a half weeks away. But in the mean time the car seams to turn tigher, and stick better in the front.
