I know their is a problem with the brakes. Just from a visual inspection the rotor looks worn down past resurfacing point. And they seem to be warped. I know I'm going to buy new ones. But the calipers is what I'm worried about. The right front seems to be sticking so I'm going to either need to rebuild it or buy a remanufactured one. Do you guys have any luck with the remanufactured ones from autoparts stores. The ones that already comes with new pads and everything already installed. Or should I attempt to rebuild my own. I should mention to you that I have just the basic hand tools no presses or air tools. And I work out in the parking lot of my apartment so this has to be something I can finish in one day and not leave the mustang on jack stands over the night.

Let me know what you guys think I should do.

if it is the front caliper you can rebuild it...But, I would just buy a new/remanned one. Dont even attempt to rebuild the rear calipers, they are way too hard. Just get new/reman ones. They will be fine.

Do I need to modify anything to make them fit. Are they any better than the standard mustang calipers. I know the Cobra ones require a 13 inch rotor.

nope they will bolt right on.

i wouldn't say that they are FAR better then the normal calipers but it is def. an upgrade from your crappy one piston calipers.
like i said i did the Cobra upgrade so i needed new calipers and brackets and such so i just have these lying around.

here is what they go for:

i posted those links just to show you that $30.00 plus shipping is a better than normal price for them.

its's just a sig of the typical user getting pwnd by an admin is all.. i am not an admin nor am i a mod.

you brake lines hook up to the new caliper no problem.

what you would need is:

the caliper
pads

and maybe the brackets.(not sure) i know i needed Cobra brackets but not too sure about this application.

but the brackets would be included anyway.. i can't use them with the Cobra set up.

do yall know where i could get new slotted rotors it would cost me a $100 to get em turned and machined and im betting that better ones with new pads is about that same price

rotors ..calipers and brake pads ...they dont really cost much i suggest just buy them all at thesame tme so u wont have any problem with them and u shouldnt have to worry about your brakes after that
