what if you could tint the red darker (to blend more with the black) and leave a coat or two off the amber, to make it slightly more noticeable than the red?

I dunno if Im spitting jibberish, but I think it might look pretty good us who want to keep our amber turns and have a darker look?

wat does seciential mean?
im assuming that you mean sequential. that means that the turn signals will light up in sequence one after the other instead of just both at the same time. it will make all three come on and then go from the in board light the the furthest one.

**** wraither. He is a biotch. Sell them to me. I will pay $5 moer then he is offering. Damn eBay, we can auction them here.

Just kidding Primo. Much love. I don't need another set.

As for tinting with the amber, that is what I did. Mine look dark black but in sun they look smoked. Plus you can see my brake lights, running lights, and turn signals better then most of these new cars with the ugly ass chrome (god I hate chrome) lenses thingies.

I did the swap....installed the sequential kit too. BUT now im having another issue. When I turn on the blinkers all the rear lights flash. It looks like my hazards are on when you use the blinkers. Then if you push the brake pedal they stop flashing and start again when you release it. Anyone have a clue. I read something about a green wire or maybe a green with yellow stripe wire that needs to be cut or installed under the dash????? They work fine other than that. HELP PLEASE!!!

So dont get them as dark...mine are gonna be lightly tinted like a license plate cover. Plus when you use it they will see a yellow light flashing :D

Thats exactly what I did. I swaped the lights from my 99 cobra before I sold it. I lightly tinted them on my GT and I love them. I like the amber turning signals, you dont see them so much and it helps break up the color on my car because its red. I never liked the cobra lights until i bought my 99 cobra, then I fell in love with them.

Anyone heard of this before??? I found this on the ATS FAQ page.

"Using a "T" controller for trailer harness can be used to re-route power from the Euro 4-WIRE system to the US 3-WIRE system."

If you're talking about regualr lights with the 01 harness, why not just do what I did, and drill a hole out in the housing to put the bulb in, so it still works like a factory 01 light, and there's no cutting or re wiring?

I don't know if it will work with sequential or not. I don't have sequential, I hate those. But I just drilled an extra hole in my GT lights so I could keep the bottom left turn signal like the stock 01 lights have.
