YES.. I've got the same lights, just not smoked.. talked to some HID dealers you just need to buy 1 kit for the H3s (low) and H1(highs).. or just use the H3..

If you have the standard lights now, with high/low 9007 all in one they make kits for that as well..

Best price...
DDM Tuning - HID Kits, DEPO Lights, BMW Bumpers & Lighting
Just get the bulbs and color you want for each..

I haven't bought them yet but I spoke with these guys (below) to make sure I could do it..

Both places have been recommened on this site.. Lefty has stuff from HID guy and I talked to them, but they cost more.. Ace has some from DDM..

Well I don't know if it's worth a shot. $200 for the lights, plus another $60 or so for the HIDs b/c the 9007s won't work since the projectors require an H11 or something like that like. I'm just wondering if it's an issue of the projector not being deep enough or if it's a legality thing like with all HIDs in a non HID approved housing.

yea I've got the 9007 HID kit from ddmtuning so I'm assuming I would have to get an H3 kit and an H1 kit if I wanted HIDs in for highs and lows correct? Then the 9007 kit would just be a shelf piece.

Does anyone know if the ballasts are different when going from a 9007 to an H3? I'm just wondering if I couldn't just buy a set of replacement bulbs in the H3 size and just swap those into my current setup

I know you can change temps by just changing bulbs. Ballasts supply power, the bulb determines colour. Given that, I believe their ballasts are probably all the same, the only difference in the bulbs being how they connect to the housing.

with HID, the balasts are interchangeable. at least with the ones from DDM tuning... I bought the 9007 65K bi-zenon 35W from them. like them, but wanted more. so I ordered 899 4500K 55W for my fogs from them. once they get here, tomorrow, Im swapping the 55W balasts onto the headlights and using the 35W balasts ont eh fogs. then once my projectors come in next week I will order the proper bulb for the low beams, or I might just order a full 35W kit and sell it as a whole on here for factory 9007 lights. as stated, the BULB determins color. not the balast.

The ballasts are all the same if you get them from the same manufacturer and the same wattage. My 9007 and 899 ballasts are identical. I highly recommend HIDguy.net That is where I got mine from and even after I ****ed up in the ordering, he was willing to make it right. Excellent customer service.

Excellent news. Now the question is whether or not the HID bulb will actually fit into the projector housing on those headlights. I would think it should, but would have to be wrong.

thanks...i would love to just tell you know.....but im only 80% sure....the thing i would worry about to is the temp of the bulb....im just learning about HIDS
Don't forget beam pattern. While HID bulbs can physically fit, getting a stock-like beam pattern is not going to happen unless you have a reflector designed for it. Usually HIDS in a halogen housing will get you a low beam pattern that's somewhere in between high and low beams instead of a true low beam. Not the best to deal with if you do a lot of driving on foggy nights - the ideal solution is to transplant a complete set of OEM HID projectors behind the stock lens.

Yea I'm aware that those are not true HID projector housings which is why I'm wondering if they say not for HIDs bc of that, or bc they physically won't fit.
