Scott2001GT - haha that was actually one of the reasons I really liked this mod bc itll show off mods once I finally get them. 3

M.P. Cobra Fan - Like ive said before, if travel arrangements and a deal can be made, Ill come to someone if need be.

DAMNitzHENRY - ah I bet ya could do it. Just some basic tools and a lil soldering knowledge and youre set!

101fng - Im actually over in Jonesboro, AR for college but come back to Memphis quite a bit. Im down to do your car for ya. Just shoot me a pm and we can discuss it.

As a side note, ill cut the first person who commits to having me do this for them a deal on labor so I can make a pictorial DIY.

could you maby do some sort of write up for those of us who live a little far away and don't have the kind of money to have you come all down here and help :D:D
no offense man but this is the last thing you should even be thinking about doing yourself

it was directed towards shutteringstang notice the quote. not to be a dick but the problems he has and as often as the car goes to the dealership i dont think he should mess with his car especially the main harness which i'm sure has to be spliced and soldier in many places. not sure the dealership would like this mod anyway not that it matters to me its definately something i would like to do for sure

I'm not sure if I like it or not, because now it makes the enging look really off center and odd, since there is still all the **** on the driver side. But you deffinetely did a good job and I admire your dedication! It looks great, real clean.

Damn! Looks so easy to change to manifolds now!
Don't get your hopes up, starter still needs to come down for the majority of headers you would install, and motor still needs to be raised to get them to slip passed the frame rails. Bay gets tighter the lower you look. Drivers side has the steering knuckle in the way as well, again, requires raising of motor. Lastly, none of the bottom side header bolts are convenient because of the tube routes. So what looks like a joy from the top, quickly changes when you get to the bottom.

StutteringStang06 - If I cant work out a deal to do this to someone elses stang, then I plan on writing up a general DIY/guidelines with what I have.

UrbanRedneck - I agree that it looks unbalanced at the moment but once I get some more free time and money to do a few planned mods then the engine bay will be more less balanced. I think the worst part is the gigantic stock airbox lol

Emay - So true that looks can be deceiving lol this mod was a perfect example. I thought it would take less time than it did the first time but the second time would be a cinch

GREAT now you got me thinking!
That has been one of things that has bothered me for about 3 years now. Now that I see it can be done I may have to look into it myself.
GREAT job!!!!!

Very cool. I like it a lot. I would love to do something like that but it will probably have to wait until next winter. I'm hardly going to have the time to install my new suspension setup before spring. 65 hour work weeks lately because the new guy got fired and they haven't found a replacment yet.

Anyway, could we get a write up? That would be awesome and may convince me to take a week of vacation and do it. :p

Thanks guys! Idk why I havent posted on here before but im liking the atmosphere here better than some other forums :D

garydahl - I have a few HQ pics here(Engine Rewiring pictures by memphisstylee - Photobucket) if you wanted to check out the few pics I took while doing this. As of right now, its looking like I will have either a full step by step pic DIY and or drop in harnesses by summer!

Towelly - Wow a 65 hr work weeks can really cut into mod time lol check out what I said to garydahl above about the DIY

wishIhada5.0 - im not opposed to looking into doing this an SN-95. Its been a while since Ive even looked at one but I cant imagine it being too much more challenging than the S197 :dunno
