hey guys,

i need to replace the front pads, rotors and calipers. AM is offering a Cobra upgrade kit for 669.99$ it includes the hoses and the brackets.

IYHO, if i want a little more braking power than stock, is this worth buying it? or there is something similar i could buy for less?

thanks.

it will be worth buying for sure. you will notice a nice difference

i've got the cobra brake upgrade too. but theres no way in H-E-Double hockey sticks i would pay $600 for it. i watched EBay for a while and got a set of calipers/pads from MPS for like $225 shipped. all i had to do was pick up the rotors then and i was set

Or just get some powerslot rotors and hawk HPS pads. Thats a very nice combo. I drove on the track with that setup in the beginning.

If you keep an eye on Corral, guys are selling cobra brake setups all the time. You shouldnt have to spend that much.

Good luck.

Cobra brake upgrade is definitely worth it.

Sure it's a nice combo but no calipers, and prolly just as expensive.

I'm looking to buy everything new, not used a little whatsoever on another car.

i've looked on Ebay and didn't find anything or it wasn't cheaper. Still there is no hurry as my car is in storage for the winter, i can wait for a deal. i remember seeing it much cheaper on BFR but that was a while ago, they don't seem to sell it anymore.

^Thanks for the links I have been looking for a good price all day, and the best one was in the link u posted! REPS
