HI,

How are you?? guys?

Because i have a lot of problems when the install the vortec ho in my stang 2005 gt automatic ... i had to contact vortec again...
Vortec told me that there is possible failure because the cold weather in The Netherlands...but we have just normal weather ...the winter was about fahrenheit 26....
And the told me not to drive it everyday....???

Strange.....so you can only drive a supercharger in the summer??

P0104 - mass or volume /circuit intermittent
P0506 - idle air control /idle air control system rpm lower then expected
P1000 - OBD System reading

greetings

ralph

i have driven mine at 25 degrees Celsius with my Paxton no problem here in Florida. I guess is because it's a dry cold.

Mr.Stang08 - haha, 25 celsius is pretty warm dude. (77 farenheit)
Ralph - I know Vortech recommends to not drive it when under 25 farenheit. I do not think that is your problem though. Like I have said before, you need to contact a tuner here in the States who will send you a tune, you datalog a few drives in the car, send it back to them, then they'll send you an updated tune. That is the best way if you cant get a dyno-tune. I'm pretty sure that most of the big companies will do this for you. Try Blow By Racing or Brenspeed.

Lol I meant 25 degrees farenheit

the cold weather causes issues with the vortech, its in the manual....can lead to failure in the vortech unit itself
Basically if you do not let the lubricant warm up the blower geaars may sieze up.

Ralph, call both of these places and tell them what your codes are and what all you have done to the car. Ask them if they can email you a tune, you datalog a few runs, email them the info, and they email you an updated tune.

I agree call one of these guys tell them what you have (supercharger and the codes you have) and ask them how much for an email tune. Did you by the kit direct from vortech or did you get a tuner kit from a vendor. What fuel system upgrades and tuner did it come with? I would bet it is in the tune, get a new tune asap.
