Seeing as how I'm getting plenty back from the IRS, I devised a foolproof plan to make my car a 400rwhp beast- the way it should have been a long time ago (when I was wasting my money on bolt-ons).
I convinced the wife (the governing body who ultimately gives the approval of purchases over $100...it's our system and keeps us from fighting so stfu) that if I stopped smoking, I could take the difference of what I'd save on smokes and put it into a savings account.
However, that's all fine and good, but I'm getting a $1000 boost in my savings account from the tax refund.
So, it's official, gentlemen. About this time next year, I'll have over $2000 in savings, and in the market for F/I.
Of course, $2000 isn't much- but it is a start. So, we agreed that I would be able to take a large amount from our return NEXT year (should we have a return as large as this year) to make up the difference.
So, Baker, Bandit, Bob, Jive, Eagle, C, Scott, Sharkbait, Wishihada5.0, and whoever else is boosted, you should all expect a lot of PMs and thread discussions calling you out...a year from now.
