WD-40 has worked best for me on stickers. Not sure about the white stripe.
i didnt even need anything but the Blow Dryer when taking the stripe off my father's 2007.

it'll make a big difference

yeah that does make a big difference, how did you go about doing it with a blow dryer? I'm going to try to take mine off Monday.
i put the blow dryer on "low" to make sure it didnt burn anything.

the warm air loosens the adhesive that hold the stripe onto the car, making it easy to peel off.

i took my fingernails and started peeling up one end of the stripe, pointing the dryer towards the underside of the stripe. then slowly peel away, keep using the blow dryer the whole time.

yeah take it off man, and if you ever want to put one back on go with the steeda stripe

Take it off. Imo black stangs just don't look right with those stripes. I love the black stripes on my white stang, but they'll be coming off to get some paint fixed up (prevent rust until the whole car gets painted). There's a guy at my school (who I think is a professor) that drives a DSG Mach 1 and it has the decals in black and god damn is it sexy. Not real easily seen from a distance but when you get close it pops out at you.

nice man hey if you want to come out to NCMMs first meet that would be awesome. click on the link in my sig if your interested.

whtstang00 i never knew that 3m made that. thanks for that info!

Willis - yeah man I'll def be up there, how many people u think u got goin? How long, and what are you plannin on doing at it...jw
not sure how many people will be going, but just check out the website in my sig and the NCMM thread in my sig too. they have all the info about the cruise.

Stickers, decals and emblems come off by heating and using some WD40 to finish cleaning the sticky stuff. I use a hair dryer but a heat gun will work also. Not too hot on the heat gun though.
