Finally got some free time and an ample amount of day light to install my CAI. Install was a piece of cake. The only things I ran into was the little sensor that plugs into the little rubber grommet. That was a pain in the butt because it is a tight fit. A little elbow grease and some WD on the grommet made a big difference. The other problem I had was the air hose on the charging pipe. It was no big deal but mine was almost dry rotted and I replaced it with a blue hose I had laying around in the garage.
I did not feel a noticeable difference in power to be honest which now I am glad I bought the AM one vs the BBK unit. It made the intake sound a little better when you are on the gas and I think the biggest difference is I felt a little more torque at WOT. It might of been the way I was driving, who knows but I honestly believe it gives you just a tad more when you get on the gas.
Here are some before and after pictures so you can see the difference and whether or not you fight it appealing to the eyes. It cleaned up the engine bay a bit and I for one really like that. Cool mod but I was honestly expecting a little more.
