Yea thats what I wanted to do. Ill check that out tomorrow for sure. I know tan is a good color, what color shows if its running to rich? I read somewhere just forgot.

And thanks ajm for the help dude

that's strange considering i have pretty much the same setup at shaun (except for having a p1sc instead of a v1) and started it up a bunch of times with it running perfectly fine. i actually drove it an hour away to the dyno to have it tuned no problem.

i was told by my tuner that it was perfectly safe to run it as long as the maf was calibrated for the injectors.
Mehhh theyre all different. Personally mine absolutely will not try to fire up with the factory tune no matter what. As soon as the right tune is loaded it fires right up.

okay cool, thnx again. Im hoping thats what it is. But, Idk because it ran rich because I forgot to "T" off the vacuum line from the bypass valve..so it was surging from 900-200/300rpm for a couple mins. T'd it off and it ran great, and a lot less rich.

Whats another good set of plugs? Ill spend some $$ to get differant ones. Like autolites? Or something?

no problem, im gonna get off her, let me know if you figure it out tomorrow.
No doubt man, thanks for the help as always...repsss

Go to store and tell them you need ngk 4177 plugs. They run a dollar sumthing each and are real good. Come to think of it this may be your issue. I fouled out mine before and had the same problem trying to start it back up. Had a cheap holding the coupler on the tb. Revved the piss outta it in the driveway and the pipe blew off. Spit sputtered n died. Didnt wanna fire back up until I pulled all the plugs and cleaned them.

What plugs are you currently running? And are ngk 4177's 2 heat ranges colder? Never heard of them.

I run the tr6's with no problems. I really want to try the zex plugs though! But i have to take the upper manifold off the kb to get to number 2-3 cylinder plugs so that is keeping me from trying it lol.

Okay cool, well maybe it is the plugs then. If so, I can have it done in like 25 mins. I gapped mine to .032 and hand tightened them. Possibly a bad IAC too, Ill crack the throttle open and try to start it.

If its not plugs, or IAC, then idk...I bought brand new fuel injectors. Thanks again ajm

Im running the same as you, NGK Tr-6's

They brand new? I would just get a can of brake dust cleaner and spray them off good! Get them all cleaned up. They are not damaged just fuel fouled (will come off). Can then use carb cleaner and try to clean out the iac too. That wouldn't keep you from starting though, just idling.

But i bet your idle problem was vac leak, and not being tuned for maf. They use completely different tables.

Aright yea **** it Ill just clean em. So use brake dust cleaner? What about electrical cleaner?

My idel problem was because the bypass valve was open, the vacuum line wasnt in anything. So it thought I was getting boost in since it was open, so it was tryna compinsate for it and put more fuel in, then more air. But that was no biggie, I realised it the first 3 minutes. After that it ran great.

Im really starting to think its just plugs. I hope so.

Electric cleaner is not strong enough. Brake cleaner and carb cleaner would be what i would use. Brake cleaner is stronger :) And that **** BLASTS they hell out of things. You can also soak them in something too, like a little glass jar. But i really think it the fouling will come off easy... since it was just idling for a bit, not even driving.

Reps for u sir. No work tomorrow, so I should wake up around 10 or 11. Ill pull the #1 plug like ajm said. Should give me an idea.

Anyone know where I can order an email tune to get me to the tuner? Brenspeed doesnt do superchargers. Thanks again - Shaun

I recommend trick tuners. He will get it perfect before you are done. Although sometimes he is slow on getting tunes out. He tunes on the weekend.

So some others might give ya some other faster places.
